George Nelson Coffee Table – Herman Miller, White

Round coffee table from George Nelson's Pedestal series, designed in 1954.

The white circular tabletop with an exposed layered wood edge rests on a central white-painted base with four outward-curving feet. The design contrasts the flat top with the sculptural form of its base.

The Pedestal series was developed during the 1950s in the context of American postwar furniture design and manufactured by Herman Miller. This example retains its original orange Herman Miller Collection label reading “Designer George Nelson”.

Very good original condition.
