From Velvet-Point Karlsruhe to Antik-Factory Speyer

A passion that lives on

The story of Antik-Factory began long before it opened in Speyer. My enthusiasm for exceptional furniture, art and design started when I was young, with my first discoveries in my grandparents’ attic and later at countless flea markets.

Velvet-Point – a special chapter in Karlsruhe

This passion led me to found Velvet-Point in Karlsruhe. Over many years, I built and developed the business together with other business partners.

With around 1,000 m² of showroom and storage space, Velvet-Point became a well-known destination for vintage furniture, mid-century design, design classics and unusual interior pieces.

For more than 15 years, we had the pleasure of serving many loyal customers. Alongside private homes, our furnishing projects included hotels, commercial spaces and film productions.

What I remember most are the personal encounters, the shared enthusiasm for special finds and the long-standing relationships with our customers.

A new chapter: Antik-Factory in Speyer

Today, I continue this passion at Antik-Factory in Speyer on a smaller, more personal scale.

My focus is on carefully selected vintage furniture, design classics, art and distinctive one-of-a-kind pieces with a story to tell.

Restoration and a sustainable approach to quality furniture remain central to what I do. Good design is timeless, and exceptional pieces deserve to be preserved.
